Obituary For Gloria O'Neal

CROWLEY – Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 417 W. 3rd Street, Crowley, LA for Mrs. Gloria O’Neal, affectionately known as “Butsy”, 85, who entered eternal rest on Friday, June 10, 2022, at Ochsner Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.

Rev. Mark Alewo Odoguje, SVD will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mourning Mrs. O’Neal’s homegoing, but cherishing the life she lived are her sons, Lionel Hollier Sr., (Kyly), Terrell "Doc" Hollier, James "Shannon" O'Neal Jr., all of Crowley, LA; and SSG Derek O'neal Sr., (Tiffany) of Fort Polk, LA. 27 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Gloria was never alone when she entered the gates of Heaven. She was greeted by her husband, James O'Neal Sr.; her parents, Edward and Esther D Hollier; two sons, Clifton Hollier and Cleveland Hollier Sr; two brothers, Edward Hollier Jr. and Eric Hollier and one sister, Esther Lee Trahan; one granddaughter, Kimberly Hollier; three nieces, Lamara Ann Hollier, Linda Trahan and Alisa Gallow; two nephews, Edward Hollier III and Raymond Hollier and other family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
