OPELOUSAS โ Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Ivory Norton, Jr., 77, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Brian K. Alfred, Pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Nortonโs memories are being cherished by: his wife, Francisca M. Norton of Opelousas, LA; one son, Mark (Amy) Bantayan of the Philippines; two daughters, Maribem Colcol and Francia Marie Parayno, both of the Philippines and Diana Gueta of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Marsha K. Norton of Carencro, LA; nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Ivory Norton, Sr. and Helen S. Norton; two brothers, James E. Norton and Norris G. Norton; and two sisters, Mary Norton McCoy and Joyce F. Norton.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
