Obituary For Jessie Williams, Jr.

OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Jesse Williams, Jr., 77, who entered eternal rest on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in St. Mary Baptist Church Cemetery in Port Barre, LA.

Rev. Brett Semien will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Williams’ memories are being cherished by: six brothers, Rodgers Williams Sr. (Gilda), Lester Williams, Wilfred Times (Chris), Minister Burnell Times (Merline), Kerry Williams (Dena) and Donald Bob (Karen); one sister, Juanita Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Williams, Sr. and Octavia Turner Williams Bob; one brother, Henry Times, Jr.; one sister, Juquita Bob; brother-in-law, Charles Bob; sister-in-law, Georgia Williams; and step father, Reed Bob.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ in Opelousas, LA.
