OPELOUSAS – Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Joanne Rose, 60, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 23, 2020 in Opelousas, LA. Visitation with family will be held from 4:00 p.m. until time of services. Rev. Nathaniel Thierry, Pastor of Living Waters Christian Center, will be officiating the memorial service. Mrs. Rose was a member of Living Waters Christian Center in Opelousas, LA. Mrs. Rose’s memories are being cherished by: her husband, Calvin Rose of Opelousas, LA; one son, Kenneth Rose of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Nakethia Rose of Opelousas, LA; four brothers, Nolan Murray (Marie) of Beaumont, TX, Joe Willie Murray (Jermelyn) of Baton Rouge, LA, John Murray (Tina) of Ville Platte and Joel Murray (Rita) of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Geraldine Andrus and Gladys Johnson, both of Opelousas, LA, Grace White (Melvin) of Houma, LA and Beverly Boudreaux (Tilden) of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Edmonia Miles Murray; two brothers, Charles Murray and Arthur Murray, Jr.; and two sisters, Earline Murray and Elnoria Parker. I am shock to hear of my friend Joann on Sunday at jockey lot we had a great time talking and laughing in so much words she was sick but didn’t complain I am hurt she told she was dieing Rest In Peace we will meet again
