OPELOUSAS โ Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Little Zion Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Johnnie Richardson, Sr., 58, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Arizona. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Calvin Moore, Pastor of Little Zion Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Richardsonโs memories are being cherished by: his son, Johnnie Richardson, Jr. of Houston, TX; one brother, Kevin Richardson of Seattle, WA; two sisters, Diadra Richardson of Houston, TX and Melanie Chavis (Byron) of Opelousas, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Patsy Williams Richardson and Lucius Richardson and two sisters, Karen Pickens and Denise Branch.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Little Zion Baptist Church.
