Obituary For Joseph Castillo

CROWLEY - Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Crowley, LA for Mr. Joseph Castillo, 25, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in Frey Cemetery.

Rev. Michael Chachere, Pastor of Rayne Greater Apostolic Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Castillo leaves to cherish his memories: his fiancée, Mekdes Blackman of Fairfield, CA; his father, Alfredo Castillo of Baton Rouge, LA and his mother, Margie Chevis Castillo of Crowley, LA; his childhood parents, Michael and Nickole Chachere of Crowley, LA; a niece that he raised, Ayana Castillo; one brother, Alfredo Castillo of Crowley, LA; six sisters, Jessica Castillo, Francesca Carriere (Joshua) and Malayah Chachere, all of Crowley, LA, Anna Castillo of Oakland, CA, Stephanie Castillo of Lawtell, LA and Pauline Castillo Ledezma of Chataignier, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Ware Chevis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
