OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, 1606 W. College Ave., Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Josephine Weston, 75, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Patterson, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Michael Ford, Pastor of Jerusalem C.O.G.I.C. will be officiating the funeral service.
Mrs. Weston’s memories are being cherished by: her husband, Henry Weston of Patterson, LA; four sons, Junior Weston of Angola, LA, Lawrence (Cassandra) Weston of Patterson, LA, Tony Weston and Reggie Weston, both of Berwick, LA; three daughters, Elaine Weston (Aubrey) of Eunice, LA, Octavia Weston of Patterson, LA and Kimberly Weston of Berwick, LA; one sister, Amy R. Valyan of Opelousas, LA; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-seven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, William and Emma Rideaux; one son, William Weston; two brothers, Paul Rideaux and Richard Rideaux; and one sister, Ophelia Guillory.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Community Chapel Church of God In Christ.
