OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, 621 Narrow Street, Opelousas, LA for Ms. Juliet Andrus Brown, 56, who entered eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. Interment will be held in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Dwight Brown, Pastor of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Juliet’s memories are being cherished by: her father, Jules Andrus, Sr. of Palmetto, LA and her mother, Diane Andrus of Opelousas, LA; four daughters, Whitney Andrus, Janay Robinson, Jasmine Robinson and Dashanti Robinson, all of Opelousas, LA; one son Phillip Andrus of Opelousas, LA; her children’s father, Phillip Robinson of Opelousas, LA; five grandkids, Jayden Robinson, Cayden Robinson, Taylynn Robinson, Ja’Kyren Robinson and Ahmad Henry; five brothers, Jules (Andree) Andrus Jr of Port Barre, LA, Ray Andrus of Opelousas, LA, Quinton (Tequila) Andrus Sr of Ville Platte, LA, Ryan (Rashonda) Ford of Lebeau, LA and Calvin (Shandice) Andrus of Port Barre, LA; three sisters, Cynthia Andrus and Shevon (Earl) Andrus, both of Opelousas, LA and Gwendolyn Brady of Forney, TX; two aunts, Mary (Terry) Tyler of Palmetto, LA and Lillie Turner of San Antonio, TX; one uncle, Edward (Cynthia) Andrus of Lebeau, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.
