I am very saddened to hear of 1SG Kenneth Edwards passing. I served with him for quite a few years and he was the epitome of a professional and Patriotic Drill Sergeant and 1ST Sergeant. I want all of his friends and family to know how proud he was of being a Soldier in the United States Army. He was far above his peers in his pride in carrying out all missions with efficiency and excellence! CSM (R.) John R. Vidrine

My heart aches, he was such a remarkable person! I will always have such fond memories of him, he never missed a family gathering or special event. Kenneth stepped in at my wedding to assure I had someone to dance with for the father/daughter dance. He was such a great mentor, husband, father, brother, and friend. He never denied a helping hand to anyone in need. I will always love you Kenneth Edwards. My love and deepest condolences go out to his wife (my sister), nieces, and the Edwards family. He was a man among men! I will forever miss you Kenneth Edwards.
