OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Abundant Life Christian Center in Baton Rouge, LA for Ms. Kimberly Elizabeth Coleman, 53, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. Interment will be held in First Hope Church Cemetery in LeMoyen, LA.

Pastor Timothy Dunn, Sr. will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Coleman’s memories are being cherished by: her four children, Kimmika Coleman of Baton Rouge, LA, Elroy (Destiney) Coleman of Lafayette, LA, Lerrick Coleman of Baton Rouge, LA, and Shameka Coleman of Baton Rouge, LA; four siblings, Stacy Brown (David ) of Cleveland, Ohio, Christopher Coleman and Shelia Coleman, both Baton Rouge, LA and Evette Coleman of Plaucheville, LA; one uncle, Roy Recard of Bunkie, LA; two aunts, Beverly Charles of Bunkie, LA and Sarah Washington of Dallas, TX; 19 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends

She is preceded death by her parents, Jerrel Coleman and Lena Coleman; one sister, Jennifer Coleman; three nephews, Jeremy Coleman, Devin Coleman, and Tevin Coleman; her maternal and paternal grandparents, Hester Recard, Louis Recard, Robert Coleman, and Leather Coleman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Abundant Life Christian Center.
