OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, 217 LA-10, Opelousas, LA for Mrs. LaKethia Rachelle Robinson Joseph, 47, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Mrs. Joseph’s memories are being cherished by: her husband, Travis M. Joseph; one son, Tra’Vonte Joseph; two daughters, Tyriana Joseph (fiancé, Jazz Andrus) and Ti’Armoni Joseph (Titus Thomas); four grandchildren, Ja’Khai Andrus, Za’Mir Joseph, Hazley Joseph and Jabari Andrus; two bonus sisters, Martina Chaisson-Dixon (Xavier) and Latasha Manuel Rubin (Lydell); two special aunts, Jacqulyn Charles (David) and Linda Brooks (Eugene); two special uncles, Willrey (Shirley) Robinson, Jr. and Kevin Robinson; mother-in-law, Jennifer Joseph Harmon (Henry) and father-in-law, Ronald (Charlene) Richard; four Godchildren, Kladaishia Chaission-Handy (Jaylon), Joelyn Pickney, Tevin Joseph, Jr. and Aaliyah Richard; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by: her father, James Angello and mother, Earma Jane Robinson; paternal grandparents, Ceasar and Vivian Angello; maternal grandparents, Willrey and Mary Robinson, Sr.; uncle Darrell Robinson; and aunt Linda Fontenot.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church.
