Obituary For Lawrence Tezeno, Sr.

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Lawrence Tezeno, Sr., 63, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his residence in Breaux Bridge, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Pastor Charles E. Brumfield, Jr. will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Tezeno leaves to cherish his memories: his two sons, Andrew Tezeno and John Fontenot, both of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Mindy Tezeno-Johnson (Christopher) and Marshall Tezeno, both of Opelousas, LA; one brother, David (Bonnie) Tezeno of Opelousas, LA; five sisters, Alvina Rideaux of Chicago, IL, Dorothy Tezeno of Dallas, TX, Anna Celestine (Lincoln) of Opelousas, LA, Mary Johnson (Charlson) of Washington, LA and Viola Readore (Reynard) of Lebeau, LA; twelve grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Tezeno was preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph and Laurence Ardoin Tezeno; one son, Lawrence Tezeno, Jr.; six brothers, Clarence Tezeno, Eugene Tezeno, Ambrose Tezeno, Farris Tezeno, Peter Tezeno and Willie Tezeno; and five sisters, Clara Sinegal, Rose Mouton, Hilda Tezeno, Lorita Celestine and Joyce Tezeno.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
