CHURCH POINT – A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point, LA for Mr. Lawrence Vallier, 70, who entered eternal rest on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Opelousas General Health System.

Mr. Vallier’s memories are being cherished by: his wife of 45 years, Barbara Vallier of Church Point, LA; two sons, Damon Keith (Denico) Vallier of Carencro, LA and Randall Scott Vallier of Church Point, LA; one daughter, Chelsea Citizen of Church Point, LA; one brother, Willis (Shelia) Thomas of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Wilma Thomas of Grand Coteau, LA, Marie Henry of Opelousas, LA, Florence Vallier of Lawtell, LA and Evelyn Richard (Nelson) of Houston, TX; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Allen Vallier and Anna Mae Thomas; paternal grandparents, Andrus and Edmonia Vallier; maternal grandparents, Andrew and Evelyn Valere; five brothers; and three sisters.

The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to his Godchild, Charise Thomas, Christine Semien, Morlyn (Michelle) Thomas whom he raised as a son, George Broullette (his long time boss and friend) and Chief Dale Thibodeaux.
