Obituary For Lee Anna Reed

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Lee Anna Reed, 61, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont, LA. Interment will be held in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Ms. Reed’s memories are being cherished by: one brother, Lewis Barnaby; four aunts, Laura Thompson, Mary Odelia Jerry, Mary Velma Reed and Helen Thompson Charles, all of Opelousas, LA; her companion, Joseph Sonnier of Opelousas, LA; one Godchild, Jacoby Barnaba; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her mother, Edna Reed Barnaby and her father, George Lee Thompson; her sister, Patricia Barnaby; paternal grandparents; and maternal grandparents, Simon and Lorena Reed.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31,2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
