CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley, LA for Mr. Leneal Bolden, Sr., 86, who entered eternal rest on Monday, December 5, 2022 in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in South Crowley Cemetery.

Fr. Mark will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mr. Leneal Bolden, Sr. memories are being cherished by: two daughters Jacqueline B. Adams (Donald, Sr.) of Rayne, LA and Nelwyn B. Carter of Crowley, LA; seven grandchildren: Celethia Allen of Houston, TX, Artis McCrea III (Shalunda) of Dallas, TX, Donald Adams, Jr. (Ruth) of Lake Charles, LA, Rashonda B. Jackson (Marcko) of Lafayette, LA, Delvin Bolden, Sr. (Luz) of Killeen, TX, Terrance Wiltz of Crowley, LA and Van Courtland Wiltz of Jennings, LA; 13 great grandchildren: Jessyka Anderson and Paisley Smith both of Crowley, LA, Darius Yokum of Houston, TX, Isabella Adams and Mariah Adams both of Lake Charles, LA, Zylon Jackson, Xavier Jackson and A’Brielle Jackson all of Lafayette, LA, Daylen Bolden, Ella Gucman, Bella Gucman, and Max Gucman all of Killeen, TX and A’Najah McCrea of Katy, TX; one brother, Ledell George, Sr. of Crowley, LA; four sisters: Corita G. Young of Beaumont, TX, Pauline G. Bush of Waldorf, MD, Charlene G. Sykes (Kevin) of Houston, TX; and Dora G. Johnson of Crowley, LA; one aunt: Annie Lee Davis Savoy of Opelousas, LA; two uncles: Walter Davis, Sr. (Rosemary) and Uelton Davis both of Opelousas, LA; three sisters-in-law: Arkey Duncan of Crowley, LA, Alice Bolden of Rayne, LA, and Patricia George of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mr. Bolden is preceded in death by his wife: Rosetta Wilridge Bolden; his parents: John Bolden and Letha Davis George; stepfather: Paul George; two sons: Leneal Bolden, Jr. and Terrance Bolden; one daughter: Nedra Bolden; one granddaughter: Andrea Adams; his siblings: Herbert Davis, Margaret Davis, Henry Bolden, Sr., Vera Lee Spencer, Mary Lee Bazile, Wardell George, and Baldwin George; and three nieces: Natalie Johnson, Shelia Morales, and Linda Bolden.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church.
