Obituary For Lily Mae Nimer

OPELOUSAS – A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Opelousas Life Church, 146 Annointing Dr., for Ms. Lily Mae “Say Say” Nimer, 69, who entered eternal rest on Friday, June 4, 2021 at her residence in Opelousas, LA.

Pastor Kerney Thomas will be officiating the memorial service.

Ms. Nimer leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Patrick J. (Stacey) Nimer of Plaisance, LA; three daughters, Angelica Johnson (Keith) of Lawtell, LA, Dawn Nimer and LaDonna Guillory both of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Willie (Pam) Nimer, Jr. of Dallas, TX; three sisters, Wanda Nimer of Dallas, TX, Melinda Batiste (Isaac), and Loyce Williams both of Opelousas, LA; 20 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Nimer, Sr. and Mary Griffin; four brothers, Richard Nimer, Donald Hall, Sr., Joseph Williams and Lloyd Williams; one sister, Willie Mae Chambers; and one grandson, Bobby Shiquelle Jones; and one uncle, John Griffin.
