OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home, 907 N. Market St., Opelousas, LA for Mr. Lonnie Robinson, Jr., 61, who entered eternal rest on Friday, March 6, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Church Point, LA. Rev. Justin Wafer will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Robinson leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Elizabeth Robinson of Church Point, LA; his mother, Rose Guillory of Eunice, LA; four sons, Alvin Chachere (Clarissa), Lonnie Robinson, III (Uniquewa), Brandon Jenkins and Randy Vallier, all of Church Point, LA; three daughters, Collida Robinson of Eunice, LA, Elisabeth Jenkins and Alma Jenkins, both of Church Point, LA; six brothers, Clayton Chatman (Suzone) of Lafayette, LA, Ben Robinson (Cathy) and Donald Tyler, both of Eunice, LA, Lionel Robinson, Billy Robinson (Lawanda) and JD Robinson (Pandora), all of Crowley, LA; eight sisters, Bertha Guillory (Murray) of Church Point, LA, Jessica Clark (Chris), Venita Guillory and Carol Guidry (Wayne), all of Eunice, LA, Mary Ann Guillory (Gregory) of Galveston, TX, Vera Guillory of Lafayette, LA and Delores Thomas (Sheldon) and Barbara Robinson, both of Mamou, LA; fifteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his father, Lonnie Robinson, Sr.; his step father, Jessie Guillory; one brother, Harold Robinson; one sister, Murlee Rochon; and his grandparents, Vera Mae Stark and Henry Chatman. Visitation will be observed from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
