Obituary For Marcy "Louise" Guillory

CHURCH POINT - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Church Point, LA, LA for Ms. Marcy Guillory, affectionately known as “Louise” by her family and friends, 61, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at Ochsner University Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.

Fr. Chrysanthus Ugorji will be officiating the funeral mass.

Ms. Guillory to cherish her memories: her children, Jessica Guillory, Dewanda Jenkins (Reyna Rivas), Brittany Jenkins, Alexis Jenkins and Jasmine Jenkins; four sisters, Jennie Bellard (Yusef Abdul) and Albertha Minix, both of Church Point, LA, Anna Lee Fox West (Jeff) of Prince George, VA and Joyce LeBlanc of Rayne, LA; ten grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mitchell and Alma Guillory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.
