OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ, 1606 West College Ave., Opelousas LA for Margaret Cane Papillion, 64, who entered eternal rest on Monday, February 28, 2022 in Beaumont, Texas
Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park, in Opelousas LA., Rev. Craig S. Winfrey of New deliverance Missionary Baptist Church of Houston, TX will be officiating the funeral services.
Mrs. Papillion memories are being cherished by her husband of 28 years, Joseph “LJ” Papillion; five daughters. Loretta Conley (Jesse) of Beaumont TX, Yolanda, Shontelle, Danielle Papillion of Houston Texas, God Daughter Lori Ware (Bobby, Jr) of Opelousas LA. One brother, Larry Cane of Washington LA; one sister Carolyn Matthews (Erroll) of Beaumont TX: Nine grandkids, Ten great grandkids: A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Laura Cane, Sr; two brothers, Edward Cane Jr, and Calvin Cane; four sisters Shirley Edwards, Delores Patterson, Laura L. Robertson, and Mary Alice Bell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday March 12, 2022 from 8:00am- 9:45am at Community Chapel Church of God in Christ.
