Obituary For Mary Jane Aggison

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Mary Jane Aggison, 54, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Aggison’s memories are being cherished by: her mother, Rose Guilbeau Aymond of Opelousas, LA; one son, Joseph Aymond of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Naomie Aymond and Brandy Aggison, both of Lafayette, LA; one brother, Jimmy Aymond of Ville Platte, LA; three sisters, Clara Aymond and Peggy Aymond, both of Opelousas, LA and Julia Aymond of Leonville, LA; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Frank Aggison; step father, Horace Hampton; maternal grandmother, Naomi Guilbeau; and one granddaughter, Aniyah Ollison.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
