Obituary For Mary Rose Thomas

OPELOUSAS - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home of Opelousas, LA for Mrs. Mary Rose Thomas, 82, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Opelousas General Health System. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA. Rev. Clarence Lazard, Pastor of St. Luke Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mrs. Thomas leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Isaac Thomas (Leslie) of Lake Charles, LA; three brothers, Aceson Albert, William Albert (Albertine) and Floyd Albert, all of Houston, TX; four sisters, Eleanor Albert-Bocard, Florence Albert-Lavine and Lillie Albert-Days, all of Houston, TX and Rosa Albert-Milburn (Larry) of Opelousas, LA; one grandchild, Keisha Thomas; three special nieces, Cherika Albert, Ambreshia Gordwin and Rechelle Milburn; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, Isaac Thomas, Sr.; her parents, Joseph and Julia Aggison Albert; five brothers, Hammond Albert, Herman Albert, Silas Albert, Louis Albert and Sampson Albert; and three sisters, Priscilla Albert Joubert, Bessie Albert Semien.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
