The most sweetest, honest, loving, caring , strongest woman I ever met. She always had a smile on her face. She lit up the room where ever her presence was at. She would tell me stories if the olden days and how blessed she was to see each day. She always was comforting and genuinely loving. Always took the time to ask how you were doing no matter what. Always gave a hug and her war embrace will never ever be forgotten!! I thank you for loving me and my children for we are blessed to have known you!!! You will never be forgotten and the old stories you told me I will cherish every single one. I will miss seeing your beautiful face and miss your warm hugs. Forever grateful for you. Mathilda was a very important person in my life. She worked for my grandparents in Washington and took excellent care of my brothers and I. My grandparents were Mr.& Mrs. Hillred Sylvester.(Hicks). I spent every weekend there and Mathilda was just an angel. We all loved her.
With our deepest sympathy
