Obituary For Michael Ray LeDay
OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at St. Mark Baptist Church in the Plaisance community for Mr. Michael Ray LeDay, 67, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 23, 2026 in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Jason Rubin, Pastor of St. Mark Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. LeDay’s memories are being cherished by: his brother, Keith (Tammy Kennedy) LeDay of Opelousas, LA; one niece, Anja Simone Alfred of Opelousas, LA; and a host of relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Atkin LeDay, Jr. and Mrs. Virginia Rose LeDay and his sister, Sonja LeDay Alfred.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church.

To be absent with the body is to be present with the Lord. Micheal, you will be truly missed especially during tax season. Some many memories of the fun and laughter shared at Mother & Dad. I will definitely remember the numerous road trips with the family which was always filled with love and laughter. No one wants their love one to go but God has the final say. RIP Mike😢💔
