CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at The Church of the Nazarene, 1203 W. Northern Ave., Crowley, LA for Mr. Michael Thomas Rowie, Jr., 41, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Ochsner Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, LA.

Pastor Sheila R. Henderson will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Rowie’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Zelda Rowie and father, Michael Rowie, Sr., both of Crowley, LA; three sons, Michael Rowie, III, Micah Rowie and Taylen Rowie, all of Crowley, LA; two daughters, Myla Rowie and Mercedes Rowie, both of Crowley, LA; paternal grandmother, Mildred Rowie of Chersaw, SC; three sisters, Marissa Rowie and Jonathan of Church Point, LA, Myosha Rowie and Monica Rowie and Chris, all of Lafayette, LA; one grandchild, Jonah James of Crowley, LA; special bonus daughter, Mya Rowie of Eunice, LA; Godfather, Gary Baker of Columbus, GA; two Godmothers, Judy Vallien of Crowley, LA and Sharon Francis of Duson, LA; Godchild, Jakayla Vallien of Crowley, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Delores D. Vallien and Whitney J. Clement; paternal grandfather, Robert Rowie, Sr.; and Godfather, Tracy Boyd.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at The Church of Nazarene in Crowley, LA.
