Obituary For Nicole "Ry'Ree" Hamilton

RAYNE - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Cunningham CME Church, 300 W. Harrop St., Rayne, LA for Ms. Nicole “Ry’Ree” Hamilton, 42, who entered eternal rest on Monday, August 30, 2021 in Breaux Bridge, LA. Interment will be in Rayne Protestant Cemetery in Rayne, LA.

Rev. Christopher Curtis will be officiating the funeral service.

Ry’Ree leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Antwon Gaspard of Lafayette, LA; three daughters, Narsha Stevens and Shuntaira Stevens, both of Lafayette, LA and Shantae Hamilton of Rayne, LA; two brothers, Marcus Chevis and Elroy Chevis, both of Grand Coteau, LA; seven sisters, Crystal Woods of Grand Coteau, LA, Esther Hamilton of Lafayette, LA, Alicia Charles (James) and Michelle Woods (Ryan), both of Opelousas, LA, Keyera Allen and Kaneesha Allen, both of Jennings, LA and Quentella Chavis of Sunset, LA; two grandchildren, Zayden Davis and Jaylen Stevens; a special friend, Elaine Malbrough; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her mother, Elnora Allen and her father, Jeffery Woods, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Hilda Mae Hamilton; maternal grandfather, Mervin Harmon; great grandmother, Dalphine Hamilton; and great grandfather, Johnny Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Cunningham CME Church.
