Philip Wayne Levier entered eternal rest on Friday, July 21, 2023, at MD Anderson Houston, TX, at the age of 47. Philip was born on July 12, 1976. He is survived by two daughters, Johnneisha Henry of New Orleans, LA and Paris Levier of Orange, TX; his father, Clark Gabriel (Alfreda) of Opelousas; his grandmother, Helen Chenier Levier of Port Barre, LA; his sisters, Michele Carter (Pastor Carlton) of Opelousas and Rachel Amos (Joseph) of Humble, TX; four brothers, Roland Levier of Port Barre, LA, Joseph Larry Eaglin of Opelousas, LA, Shane Levier (Lolita) of Port Barre, LA and Brynn Gabriel of Opelousas, LA; four uncles, Howard Levier, Sr. of Port Barre, LA, Lee Levier, Jr. (Fredia) of Lafayette, LA, Charles Levier of New Orleans, LA and Jerry Levier, Sr. (Lisa) of Arnaudville, LA; seven aunts, Victoria E. Levier of Marrero, LA, Virgie Jackson of Darrow, LA, Ella Mae Malbrough of Port Barre, LA, Helen J. Hicks (Scotty) of Opelousas, LA, Victoria Lofton (Joseph) of Algiers, LA, Dr. Betty Levier of Cypress, TX and Betty Hughes (Latif) of Durham NC; four grandchildren, Julez Henry, Jueli’yonna Henry and Kamarie Velasvuez, and Haidyn Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Phil was preceded in death by his mother Coreitha Mary Levier Sinnette; his brother, Ronald Levier; his grandfathers, Lee Levier, Sr, and Wilton Gabriel; his grandmother, Ethel Gabriel.
His immediate family and friends will celebrate his homecoming services on Saturday, August 19th 2023 at Community Chapel Church of God, Opelousas, LA at 1pm.
