OPELOUSAS – Mr. Ray Ford entered eternal rest on Monday, March 25, 2024. Interment was held in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas.

Cherishing Ray’s memories are: his fiancée, Mary Ann Collins of Opelousas, LA; his daughter, Tyra Ford of Opelousas, LA; three step children, Javate, Talia and Javain Collins, all of Opelousas, LA; four brothers, Rev. Frank Ford, Earl Jones and Warren Jones, all of Opelousas, LA and Arthur Ford, Sr. of Baton Rouge, LA; and a host of step brothers, step sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his wife, Alice Ford, his parents, Clinvin Jones and Josie Ford-Bruno; three brothers, Freddie Ford, Sr., James L. Ford and Adam Ford, Jr.; and seven sisters, Linda Faye Jones Chaission, Mary Lou Baker, Josie Mae Black, Earline Thierry, Eva Jane Jones, Verda Mae Jones and Lois Ford.
