OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Emmanuel Church of God In Christ, 1120 N. Market Street, Opelousas, LA for Mr. Reggie Winbush, 58, who entered eternal rest on Monday, March 21, 2022 at his residence in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Keven Winbush of Hearts on Fire Ministry will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Winbush’s memories are being cherished by: his two sons, Reggie Guidry of Lafayette, LA and Deandre Hill of Houston, TX; four daughters, LeChasney Winbush (Brandie) of Arlington, TX, Chalis Torres Granados (Don)of Irving, TX, Faith Coleman and Cherish Hill, both of Houston, TX; six brothers, Kenneth Winbush, Eric (Carolyn) Winbush, Sr., Therion (Shannon) Winbush, Jr. and Darron (Carolyn) Winbush, all of Opelousas, LA, Russell (Merline) Winbush of Carencro, LA and Keven (Pamela) Winbush of Eunice, LA; two grandchildren, Carmen Guidry and Alena Guidry; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Therion and Irene Lavergne Winbush, Sr. and his sister, Therilyn Nadine Winbush.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Emmanuel Church of God In Christ.

I wished you had died sooner. You caused so much sorrow and suffering throughout your time on Earth, not only for myself but also for others. I hope they will find the confidence to speak up soon. You've left us with trauma and unanswered questions.
