Obituary For Robert Chachere

OPELOUSAS - Graveside services will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Robert Lee Chachere, 66, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will immediately follow.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Chachere’s memories are being cherished by: his significant other, Jannie Yowl of Opelousas, LA; three sons, Marvin Morris, Jermone Yowl and Vashanska Yowl, all of Opelousas, LA; seven daughters, Eva Walker of Houston, TX, Shericka Morris Cotton of Baton Rouge, LA, Robin Veazie, Casey Chachere, Maudyvonne Yowl and Twalla Yawl, all of Opelousas, LA and Sherryer Yowl of New Orleans, LA; one brother, Johnny Chachere of Opelousas, LA; one sister, Sandra Chachere of Opelousas, LA; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dimus and Elvina Citizen Chachere and two brothers, Joseph Chachere and Ricky Paul Chachere.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA.
