Obituary For Robert Hunt
OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Robert Hunt, 52, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at his residence in Stafford, TX. Interment will be in Little Teche/Green Chapel Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Junius Egby will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Hunt’s memories are being cherished by: his spouse, Betty Hunt of Stafford, TX; one son, Robert Hunt of Houston, TX; one daughter, Kayla Hunt of Houston, TX; one brother, Steve Hunt of Opelousas, LA; two sisters, Pauline Martin (Patrick) of Maurice, LA and Blonda Hunt of Houston, TX; one grandson, Amir Hunt; nephews, Robert Brown, Jr. (Jamser), Anthony Brown (Kay) and Jarvis Hunt (Chandrea), all of Opelousas, LA; one uncle, Clearance Shelby of Houston, TX; and a host of relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Sarah Cain; grandfather, Loucious Hunt; grandmother, Sylvia Hunt; uncles, Patrick Hunt and Marion Hunt; and aunts, Mazie Shelby, Evelina Harris, Julia Joubert, and Alice Lovings.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
