RAYNE- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 309 Holt Ave. Rayne Temple C.O.G.I.C Rayne, LA 70578 for Mr. Rodney Guidry, Sr., 81, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his residence in Rayne, LA. Interment will be in the Rayne Protestant Cemetery. Rev John Guidry Pastor of Higher Dimensions ,will be officiating the funeral service. Mr. Guidry leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Bertha Guidry of Rayne, LA; three sons, Rodney Guidry Jr., Robert Guidry and Kelly Guidry, all of Rayne, LA; four daughters, Norma Jean Jones (Calvin, Sr.), Delia Bellard (Joseph), Bertha Meche (David) and Ida Guidry, all of Rayne, LA; two brothers, Earl Guidry Sr. of Branch, LA and Dallas Guidry of Crowley, LA; a special Godchild, Dalton Cook of Rayne, LA; Twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of neices, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Lester and Vitty Guidry; three grandchildren, Calvin Guidry Jr., Miracle Meche ,and Breeah Trahan; six brothers, John, Lester Jr., Harry, Robert, Horace and Jimmy Guidry; and five sisters, Ida Jackson, Willie Carter, Norma Jean Alexander, Rosanna Smith and Alzenia Harmon. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Rayne Temple C.O.G.I.C.
