Obituary For Rose M. Richard

SUNSET – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Zion Travelers Baptist Church in Sunset, LA for Ms. Rose Mary Richard, 66, who entered eternal rest on Monday, November 28, 2022 in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Rev. Gibson will be officiating the funeral service. Ms. Richard leaves to cherish her memories: her son, Adrian (Kernitra) Hicks of Carencro, LA; one daughter, Jamie Hicks of Sunset, LA; three brothers, Harold (Michelle) Richard of San Diego, CA, Charles and Kenneth Richard, both of Sunset, LA; six sisters, Nathalie Pierre, Sadie Turner and Linda Richard, all of Houston, TX, Betty Celestine (Leroy) and Gloria Sinegal, both of Lafayette, LA and Earline Dunumba of Sunset, LA; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Ms. Richard was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Andrew and Virginia Richard and her niece, Yvette Pierre.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Zion Travelers Baptist Church.
