Obituary For Rose Mary Robinson

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at St. Mark Methodist Church, 534 South Market St., Opelousas, LA for Ms. Robinson, 86, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at her residence in Washington, LA.

Pastor Junius Egby will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Robinson’s memories are being cherished by: her two sons, Craig (Charise) Robinson of Washington, LA and Brian (Charlotte) Robinson of Opelousas, LA; three daughters, Annette Lastrapes (Lee) and Sandra Sias, both of Opelousas, LA and Elaine Robinson (James) of Washington, LA; one sister, Savannah Greer of Washington, LA; twenty-two grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Henry and Tennie Offord Robinson; eight brothers, Felton, Elton “Hobo”, Ernest, Willery “T Pot”, Phillip “Jack”, Lloyd, James and Henry Robinson; and four sisters, Beatrice “Bea” Thompson, Lillian Hicks, Ethel Rue and Doretha Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Mark Methodist Church.
