Obituary For Sevarine Rideau

EUNICE – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Greater True Light Baptist Church, 341 Ann Ave., Eunice, LA for Ms. Sevarine Rideau, 98, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence in Eunice, LA. Interment will be in Honey Bee Cemetery in Eunice, LA.

Rev. Jermaine Tezeno, Pastor of Greater True Light Baptist Church, will be officiating the funeral service.

Ms. Rideau’s memories are being cherished by: her five daughters, Judy Doyle (Gregory), Vanilla “Susie” Miller (Martin), Shelia Rideau, Felecia Mahon and Jacqueline Ardoin (Peterich), all of Eunice, LA; nineteen grandchildren; forty-three great grandchildren; twenty great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by: her son, Thomas Goodley, Sr.; her parents, Thomas Rideau and Zula Allison Rideau; two grandchildren, Jonas and Carl Vigers; one granddaughter, Skyla Mahon; and Goddaughter, Judy Bushnell.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Greater True Light Baptist Church.
