OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Sherwin Lafleur, 54, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Rev. Easton Shelvin, Pastor of Truth Is Ministries, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Lafleur leaves to cherish his memories: three sons, Shawn Savoie, Deshawn Savoie and Broyln Savoie, all of Opelousas, LA; two daughters, Purel Savoie and Kenyetta Lafleur, both of Opelousas, LA; one brother, Gary Lafleur of Opelousas, LA; four sisters, Jeanette Bougere of Houston, TX, Emma Andrus, Rita Lafleur and Anita Lafleur, all of Opelousas, LA; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Clarence and Doris Lafleur, Sr.; two brothers, Clarence Lafleur, Jr. and James Lafleur; and two brothers-in-law, Ronald Andrus and Henry Bougere.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
