OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Sidney Clark, Sr., affectionately known by his family and friends as โTrudyโ, 64, who entered eternal rest on Monday, March 21, 2022 in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Ronald Pickney will be officiating the funeral service.
Mr. Clarkโs memories are being cherished by: his wife, Gloria Mae Clark of Opelousas, LA; five sons, Sidney Clark, Jr. of Port Barre, LA, Jermaine Clark of Sunset, LA, Kevin (Lorena) Albert of Virginia, Howard (Lillian) Albert, Jr. of Washington, LA and Kenneth (Sheena) Albert of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Pauline Clark of Port Barre, LA; one brother, James (Carla) Clark of Lafayette, LA; one sister, Jeanette Clark of Port Barre, LA; a special sister, Mary Jane Pickney (Ronald) of Baytown, TX; twenty-three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Gilbert and Mericedes Clark; one son, Timothy Albert, Sr.; one brother, Wilbert Clark; two sisters, Denessa Clark and Clara J. Clark.
The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to Nathan Barnaba and Clarence Celestine. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
