PLAISANCE - Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plaisance, LA for Mrs. Theresa Ann Henry Curtis, 76, who entered eternal rest, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Father Taj Glodd, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will officiate the service.

Theresa is survived by: her daughter, Chernell Curtis of Opelousas, LA; grandchildren, Markayla Arial Washington and Cody Amon Washington, both of New Orleans, LA and Justin Tyrell Curtis of Opelousas, LA; sisters, Anna Lou Robertson and Emiline Marie Robertson, both of Opelousas, LA and Gloria Ann Hunter of Atlanta, GA; and a host of dear nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew, Sr. and Louisa Long Henry; siblings, Albert Henry, Gilbert Henry, Mary Lou Jones, Joseph Morris Henry, Andrew Henry, Jr., Phillip Henry, Wilfred Henry and Felix Henry.

The family requests visiting hours be observed on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plaisance, LA.
