OPELOUSAS – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Timonthy Major, 45, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, January 18, at his residence in Opelousas, LA. Interment will be held in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.

Fr. Justin Arockiasamy, SVD will be officiating the funeral mass.

Mr. Major’s memories are being cherished by: his mother, Ezora Marie Stafford of Opelousas, LA; one daughter, Tamia Marshall of St. Martinville, LA; three sisters, Odelia Major, Monique Major and Caroline H. Major, all of Opelousas, LA; maternal grandmother, Caroline Major of Opelousas, LA; bonus grandmother, Beulah Richard of Opelousas, LA; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his bonus father, Frank Aggison, Jr. and maternal bonus grandmother, Ruby Mae Aggison.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
