Obituary For Timmy John Zachary

OPELOUSAS – Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Mr. Timmy John Zachary, 53, who entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, LA. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Port Barre, LA.

Rev. Frank L. Ford, Pastor of Community Chapel Church of God In Christ, will be officiating the funeral service.

Mr. Zachary’s memories are being cherished by: his two sons, Tyler Landry of Sunset, LA and Zachariah Zachary of Arnaudville, LA; one daughter, Marianna Zachary of Arnaudville, LA; three brothers, Tommy Zachary and Maxie Zachary, both of Opelousas, LA and Joseph Zachary of Baytown, TX; three sisters, Barbara Pickney of Port Barre, LA, Lisa Zachary and Kelly Zachary Lavan (Robert), both of Baytown, TX; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Austin Tyler and Joyce Zachary and two brothers, Junius Tyler and Telefore Pickney.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
