OPELOUSAS - Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Opelousas, LA for Ms. Trudy Rideau, 67, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in New Iberia, LA. Interment will be in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Opelousas, LA.
Rev. Frederick Marion will be officiating the funeral service.
Ms. Rideau leaves to cherish her memories: two brothers, Roy Rideau and Michael (Judy) Rideau, both of Brenham, TX; two sisters, Cindy Jones (Kelvin) of Rayne, LA and Linda Henson of Houston, TX; Godchild, Jackie Dugas of Houston, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Esco and Gertrude Mallet Rideau and two brothers, Austin, Sr. and Esco Rideau, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home.
