Obituary For Walter Andrus
CROWLEY – Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Israelite Baptist Church in Crowley, LA for Mr. Walter Andrus, 71, who entered eternal rest on Monday, December 8, 2025 in Crowley, LA. Interment will be in West Crowley Cemetery.
Rev. Tracy Andrus will officiate the funeral service.
Mr. Andrus’ memories are being cherished by his four brothers, Tracy (Sonya) Andrus and Warren Andrus, Jr., both of Marshall, TX, Houston Vallier of Sacramento, CA and Johnny Bellard of Chesapeake, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Warren Andrus, Sr. and Alice Andrus; one son, Walter Andrus, Jr.; four brothers, Percy, Michael, Alfred and Willie Andrus; and two sisters, Josephine Ledet and Elouise Beverly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ford and Joseph Funeral Home in Crowley, LA. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Israelite Baptist Church in Crowley, LA.

We share in your sorrow. Prayers to the Andrus family. Stay encouraged and in the faith.
Mr. Walter was such a kind man in our community. It was always a pleasure working with him as a Police Juror. He and I even tilled the flower beds in the median on W Hutchinson together. He will certainly be missed by our community!
I had the privilege of working with Mr. Walter for a couple of years. He always worked hard for the people he served in the community. He loved his family and spoke of them often. Rest in Peace Mr. Walter.
