Obituary For William J. Board IV
DUSON – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at St. Benedict the Moor Church, 9135 Cameron Street, Duson, LA for Mr. William Joseph Board, IV, 49, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Fr. Paul Onuegbe will be the celebrant at the Mass of Christian burial.
Mr. Board’s memories are being cherished by: his spouse, Joselyn Board of Rayne, LA; his father, William (Betty) Board, III of Moss Point, MS; one son, Braeden Board of Rayne, LA; one daughter, Imari Jackson of Rayne, LA; one brother, Demetrius of Moss Point, MS; extended family, the Carter’s of Bogalusa, LA; one granddaughter, Imerie Senegal of Rayne, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his mother, Helen Marie Minix Chevis; stepfather, Bobby Chevis; paternal grandparents, William, Jr. and Delores Board; maternal grandparents, Luther and Beatrice Minix; an uncle, Stoney Board; and a brother-in-law, Timothy Jackson.
