Obituary For Calvin Buchanan
Public viewing for Mr. Calvin L. Buchanan, who departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at Gadsden Regional Medical Center, will be today from noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. Interment will be on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL.
Calvin was preceded in death by his son, Michael, who died at birth; three brothers, Willie, Homer and Jimmie; three sisters, Annie Rene Houser, Jessie Mae Hill and Annie Clara Goshay. Calvin leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of 56 years, Dorothy Buchanan of Gadsden, AL; one aunt, Annie Pearl Stinson of Opelika, AL; two brothers-in-law, Edward (Margaret) Robertson and Lonzie Gray; three sisters-in-law, Helen Buchanan of Gadsden, AL, Cecilia Hale of St. Louis, MO, and Yvonne Murray of Gadsden, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
