With heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Ferendez D. Latham, Sr.
On October 14, 2024, he entered into eternal rest. He is preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents, two siblings, and two nieces.
Those left to cherish his memories are: his wife, JoAnn Latham; four children, Christopher (Christi) Ash of Gadsden, AL, Lashunda Latham of Anniston, AL, Ferendez (Calandria) Latham, Jr., of Munford, AL, and Maurice (Lisa) Latham of Waterford, MI; bonus daughter, Erica Parker, Stacey (Jason) Davenport, Nova Swain, Tiffany Parker, Shantel Parker, Chad Parker, and Isiah (Chelsea) Parker; three sisters, Shirley Latham, Yvette Latham, and Vivian Pace of Gadsden, AL; one special sister, Yvonne Chapman of Lafayette, Georgia; nine grandchildren, De’Varderick Latham, Devan Ash, Ferendez Latham, III, Maurice Latham, Jr., Khristopher Ash, Vivian Biles, Breanna Latham, Cayden Latham, and Brayden Latham; three great-grandchildren, Aniylah, Genesis, and Breeze Latham; one uncle, Rev. Lumsie Fisher; special aunt, Sophilene Champion of Annie Manie, AL; special bonus daughter, Sheena Ash; five nieces, Bridgett, Tonya, Patrice, Micca, and Paij; two nephews, Patrick and Reginald; special friends, Janice Harrison, Terry Smith, Randy Jones, Marcia Kendrick, Quincy Brisker, Odessa Evans, Cecil Ferguson, and Johnny Rhodes; as well as a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public Viewing: Friday, October 25, 2024, 11 AM - 6:00 PM.
Family Visitation: Saturday, October 26, 2024, Noon - 1:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Funeral Service: Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 508 Allen Street, E. Gadsden, AL 35903 at 1:00 PM.
