Mr. William Michael Cheatham ll 62 years old, of 112 North Cherry Lane, Windsor, North Carolina 27983, born on Monday, February 24, 1964, in Tarrytown,New York, to his parents William M. Cheatham Sr. and mother Mary E. Long. Michael transitioned into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 8:10 pm , after a long illness at his home in Windsor, North Carolina, in the presence of his wife. He worked at Acura and Honda as an auto mechanic and later drove an 18-wheeler truck over the road,dump trucks, log trucks, and cement trucks. He loved his race car. Michael was preceded in death by his sister, Sierra Anderson; grandmother, Mary Cheatham; and Cordia Sutton. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 16 years of marriage,Donna Cheatham; his 4 step-children, LaJoya Green (Dontre), New Bern; Destiny Davis (Jamaal), Newport News VA; Vincent Wright Jr Yorktown, VA; and Mikel Gregory, New Jersey; his father, Mr. William M. Cheatham Sr. (Linda), Holmes, New York; mother, Mary Long, Queens, New York; sister-in-law, Lynette Harris (Bruce), Newport News, VA; Mary Johnson, Richmond, VA; Charlie Johnson Raleigh North Carolina brother-in-law, Donald Johnson (Carlene), Newport News, VA; and many family uncles aunts and cousins and friends.
