Obituary For Daisy B. Brown

Funeral Service for Mrs. Daisy B. Brown, 91, of Anniston will be Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Goodson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow the service in Edgemont Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Today our hearts are heavy with grief and sorrow, but as days turn to months, may we find sweet relief in knowing our loved one is not far away, but is with us in spirit every hour of the day. Mrs. Daisy B. Brown began her life's journey on August 16, 1931, to the parentage of the late Mr. Elvin Barnes and the late Mrs. Bessie G. Barnes. Mrs. Daisy accepted Christ as her Lord and personal Savior at an early age. Mrs. Daisy was a loving and sweet person and would help anyone and everybody that she could. She was a very kindhearted person and was loved by many. She will truly be missed by her family and friends. On Friday, September 9, 2022, a beloved sister, auntie, and dear friend answered the Master's call. God in his special and perfect time picked from our mist, this sweet soul and added her to his Heavenly Garden where her spirit will bloom forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Bessie Barnes; her husband, James R. Brown, her brother, Rufus Barnes, and her sister, Myrtice Parker. Memories of Daisy will forever be cherished by her loving sister, Bernell Chaver of Chicago, IL, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
