Edward Robert Peters Jr. of Brutonville, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the age of 72. Edward affectionately know as "Buch", passed peacefully with his three children; Justin, Shavon, and Edward "Dee" Peters by his side.

Edward was born on January 15, 1950 to the father, Edward R. Peters, Sr. and mother, Mildred A. Peters. He was a true family man and proudly served his country, completing a total of 20+ years in the Army/National Guard. He is survived by his mother, three children, 11 grandchildren, and six siblings.

All held him in the highest regard and loved him dearly. Public visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Goodson Funeral Home on 830 Noble Street Anniston, Alabama. The funeral will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM.

The service is private and closed to the public. Entombment will follow at a later date at the Alabama National Cemetery.
