Afuneral ceremony for John O. McLemore Sr; 74 of Cleveland, Ohio (formerly of Choccolocco, Al) will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Chapel of Goodson Funeral Home with Pastor John H. Oliver Jr; Eulogies.

Public viewing will be held from 1-6 PM on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the chapel. John O. McLemore Sr; was born on February 25, 1947 to the late Taylor and Delmas McLemore. John accepted Jesus Christ at an early age. John was an awesome driver. He loved big trucks and drove across the world for over 25 years. His favorite trip was from Ohio to Alabama, which he drove the most until his health failed. John also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. On Sunday, September 19, 2021 John was called home to be with our Heavenly Father. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Dorothy McLemore, two brothers, Rufus McLemore and Freddie McLemore. John leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Dameata (Willie) Carter of Anniston, Alabama, Felicia (Stokely) Harris, Yashanna Harris, and Janice (Greg) Harris-Nelson, all of Montgomery, Alabama; three sons, John O. (Caprise) McLemore Jr; of Plainfield, New Jersey, Cedrick McLemore, and Kelvin (Shanika) McLemore both of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Louise Wilson of White Plains, Alabama and Girdest (Sam) Gilbert of Choccolocco, Alabama; one brother, Paul McLemore of White Plains, Alabama; grandkids, Jada Anderson, Drakkar Harris, Oshay (Nyeesha) Harris, Jaylin Harris, Journey Harris, Roman Harris, Kylee Howard, Latasha Jackson, Jameria Jones, kierra McLemore, Khalia McLemore, Kevanique McLemore, Jacobi Nelson, Almire Payne, Nijel Payne, Tiffany Young, and Jessie (Barn Barn) James, Jr; best friend, Roberta Harris; card buddies, Leroy Littlejohn and Veronica Woodson; good friends, Mr. Olen Robinson, Billy Busby, Leothus Peterson, and Juanita McCaleb; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.
