Obituary For Michelle Brand

Michelle Jones Brand passed away at U.A.B. Pallative Comfort and Care Unit on Monday, March 9, 2020 in Birmingham, AL. Michelle was born to Kennard and Margie (Beavers) Jones in Chicago, IL, on February 14, 1957.

Michelle relocated to Talladega, AL where she met and married Bennie Brand. Michelle enjoyed traveling and had a passion for her job at Talladega College, and its students. Michelle received her Bachelor's in Business Administration from Talladega College and Masters in Business Administration from Strayer University. Michelle had a 30-year career at Talladega College' Michelle is survived by her mother, Margie Jones, her husband, Bennie Brand, her daughters Tiffany Jones, Maria Jones Storey (Korren), Mikeitha Brand, two sons Tellas Brand, Chadwick Brand, two Brothers Larry Jones (Juanita), Jeffrey Jones, and one sister Robin White (Leroy). Michelle also leaves behind six grandchildren Kahla, Isaiah, Mariah, Dontavious, Jordan, and Faith. Two great grand-children, Khylon and Khynlee, she also has one living Uncle William Beavers. Michelle faith in God allowed her family to prepare her home going and focus on celebrating her life and legacy. A Celebration of Life will be held at Saturday, March 21, 2020 - 1:00 pm. Talladega, College - Deforest Chapel 627 West Battle Street, Talladega, AL 35160. A viewing will be held Friday, March 20, 2020 - 1:00 pm - 6:00pm at Goodson Funeral Home, Anniston, AL 36201.
