Funeral ceremony for Sis. Marian O. Turner, 88, of Anniston, AL will be held 11AM Saturday, June I, 2019 at the Rocky Mountain Baptist Church with Pastor E.S. Bolton, Sr., Officiating and James R. Turner, Eulogist.

Burial will follow in Edgemont Cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 from 1-6 pm at the chapel of Goodson Funeral Home.

Survivors include: her children, Jacqueline (Roosevelt) Redmond, Rev. R. Turner (Jael), Stephanie Turner, and Darryl (Felecia) Turner, her grandchildren, Jocelyn A. Turner, Michael Turner, Precious Turner, Christina Sullivan, Marian Williams, and Carl Sullivan, great-grandchildren, Maximus Turner, Mia Turner, Kiyah Troupe, Michael Turner, Jr., Grace Turner, Ethan Turner, Colin Turner, Taleah Turner, Josiah Turner, Treasure Turner, a sister Louise Holmes, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, students, friends and countless brothers and sisters in Christ. So sorry for your loss It is so hard to focus on daily activities after such a lose but hold on to all your precious memories of your loved one. and remember our Creator, Jehovah God has them in His memory as well. (Psalms 83:18) He makes this promise: "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) So please remember you are loved and God's word promises you will see your loved one again. I am so very sorry for your family's loss. It is never easy to lose a loved one, especially when it is our mother. My mother passed away recently so I know how you must feel. I did find comfort in sharing the memories I have of her with others. I hope you can do this with Sis. Turner. God is a god of comfort and tender mercies and comforts us in all our trials (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). He also comforts us with the hope that we will see our loved ones again by means of the resurrection (John 11:25). Please accept my deepest sympathy during this most difficult time for your family.
